The island of Kapalai, known as the Little Maldives, is one of the most famous water houses in Southeast Asia! When walking on boardwalks, you can see sea creatures swimming under your feet! The Scenery is superb!
Both non-diver (Snorkeling packages) and diver (Licensed diving) packages include:
- 🚐Land transfer from Tawau Airport to Semporna Town and return (70 minutes per way)
🚤Boat transfer from Semporna Jetty to Kapalai Resort (60 minutes per way)
🏠Water chalet accommodation on twin sharing basis. Single/Solo traveler is subjected to Single Supplement for OWN CHALET with NO SHARING option. (Single Supplement rate: additional 30% from the above package rate)
- Full board meals daily: buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner, afternoon snacks, tea/coffee/cold water and cordial
- 5% off from package rate for sharing 3 adults in a chalet
- 50% off from the Non-Dive Package (ND) rate for non-diver child from 2 to below 12 yrs – sharing room with2 adults
- Infant 24 months and below is chargeable at 10% of Non-Diver Package (ND) rate
- Junior Diver (Child Diver) rate is based on Diver Package (D) rate

- 3 guided boat dives daily – except on arrival & departure day with no dive allowed within 24 hours prior to departure flight time
Tank, weight and weight belt are provided
Unlimited house reef dive in front of KAPALAI Dive Centre*
- Night dives in front of KAPALAI Dive Centre - for diver with night dive experience only.*(*Unlimited dive and Night dives are unguided dive & must be accompanied by buddy)
Notes:
- All prices quoted above are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) and EXCLUDES of Semporna Jetty Fee* and the TTx (Tourism Tax)
- Jetty Fee (inclusive SST) - RM 10.00 per person (payable to the Municipal Council of Semporna) - implemented since 2012
- TTx (Tourism Tax) – RM 10.00 per room per night (payable to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department) –implemented since 1st Sept 2017 (Sipadan-KAPALAI Dive Resort is an authorize agent to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) to collect Tourism Tax(TTx). This tax will be collected at the resort)
- KAPALAI has no other room category and allocation of room is based on RUN OF HOUSE (ROH) basis.(choosing of room by number will not be entertained)
- Honeymoon/Simple decoration (setting on arrival day only) in the chalet is chargeable at RM 150.00 per setting (inclusive SST).
- Combining Diver Package(D) and Non-Diver Package(ND) is not allowed (diver has to decide between Diver package (D) OR Non-Diver package (ND) throughout their stay)
- To purchase Diver Package, one must be a certified/licensed diver
- No pregnant woman are allowed by boat to KAPALAI Resort
- No dive allowed within 24 hours prior to departure flight time.
- Snorkel by boat is not available
- Diver guest are encourage to bring along their own equipment otherwise opt for rental from KAPALAI Dive Centre.
Boat Schedule (Fixed schedule)
- Semporna jetty to Kapalai Resort - 09:30 am, 12:30pm
- Kapalai Island to Semporna jetty - 11:00 am and 13:30pm
- Additional fee will be charged for unscheduled transfers
Land Transfer Time
- Tawau Airport to Semporna Town - 8:00am, 10:30am
- Semporna Town to Tawau Airport - 12:30pm, 14:30pm
Check-in / Check-out Time
- Check-in time into chalet - 02:30pm
- Check-out time from chalet - 11:30am
Meals and Timing
- Breakfast - 07:00am to 09:30am
- Lunch - 12:30pm to 14:00pm
- Dinner - 19:00pm to 20:30pm
Pricing Guide Example:
- 3 Adults in a chalet – 5% discount each on the package price
- 1 Adult + 1 Child in a chalet (Based on 2 Adults Rate)
- Junior Diver is under Diver Package
- Adult age applies from 12 yrs old onward
- Child (2 to 12 yrs old) – 50% of Non-Dive Package
- Infant (below 24 months) – 10% of Non-Dive Package
