Your journey begins at Semporna Jetty, where you’ll meet our friendly crew and board a comfortable speedboat. As you glide across the sparkling Celebes Sea, take in the spectacular ocean views and refreshing sea breeze. The first stop is Pom-Pom Island, famous for its calm waters and coral reefs that surround the island — perfect for snorkeling and photography. The pristine environment and peaceful atmosphere make it a favorite among travelers seeking a serene island escape.

Next, you’ll visit Mataking Island, often called “The Maldives of Sabah.” It’s home to the iconic sandbar that connects Mataking Besar and Mataking Kecil during low tide — a natural wonder that’s ideal for picture-perfect moments. Here, you can enjoy a refreshing swim or continue snorkeling in the crystal waters filled with colorful marine life. A lunch break will be provided either on the beach or a nearby island, depending on weather and sea conditions.

The third stop is Timba-Timba Island, a beautiful, long white-sand island surrounded by shallow turquoise water. This final destination is perfect for relaxation, swimming, or simply soaking in the island vibes. The calm, clear waters make it easy to spot small fish and coral beneath the surface, and it’s a great spot for photos before heading back to Semporna.

For those who wish to take their experience to the next level, you may choose to join our Discover Scuba Diving program (optional add-on). Guided by certified instructors, beginners can safely experience the thrill of breathing underwater and witnessing the vibrant marine ecosystem up close — no license required. It’s the perfect introduction to diving for first-timers and adventure seekers.

Please note: The order of the island visits may change depending on weather and sea conditions, but all three islands — Pom-Pom, Mataking, and Timba-Timba — will be included in your itinerary. With professional guides, clean equipment, and a fun, relaxing vibe throughout the day, this tour is the perfect way to explore the incredible beauty of Semporna, both above and below the sea.

1) This tour is conducted on a Shared Transfer basis, meaning you will be joining other travelers on the boat and will be accompanied by a communal guide. If you prefer an exclusive experience, please inform us so we can provide a private tour quote for your group.

2) You may use snorkeling and diving gear included in your package at no additional cost. Please be aware that a fee will be charged for any equipment that is lost or damaged during the trip.

3) Should the trip be canceled by the boat operator due to unavoidable circumstances like adverse weather or rough sea conditions, we will issue a full refund minus any financial transaction fees incurred. We are not responsible for any further costs, inconveniences, or damages resulting from the cancellation. Note that in cases of mild rain without significant wind or waves, the tour will proceed as planned, as such conditions do not typically hinder a pleasant and safe experience.

4) Once a tour has begun, no refunds will be provided for services included in the package that you choose not to utilize.
